Giorgio Pizzolo, vice president of the IWB Group, appointed to the Board of Directors of the Prosecco DOC Consortium

Milan, May 28, 2024: Italian Wine Brands S.p.A. (“IWB”) announces to the market that Vice President Dr. Giorgio Pizzolo has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Prosecco DOC Consortium. This appointment, in addition to being an important and well-deserved personal recognition for the professionalism and dedication that Giorgio Pizzolo has shown in promoting Prosecco internationally, represents a significant milestone for IWB. With its Vice President, IWB is now directly involved in the leadership of Italy’s largest wine consortium.

This position is in addition to Giorgio Pizzolo’s role as a Board Member of the Consorzio del Pinot Grigio delle Venezie, the second most important consortium after Prosecco.

IWB is also represented:

– In the Consorzio del Primitivo di Manduria DOC;

– On the Pricing Commission of the Verona Commodity Exchange;

confirming IWB’s prominent institutional position in the Italian and international wine industry.
